I am a Dan Brown fan. I love the controversy he stirs up. Especially about the Masons. My father was a Mason, I am NOT a fan. I love how much research he does about every aspect in his books. Hard to argue with facts.

My cousin is a HUGE fan of his. She preordered this new book. I probably wont get it or borrow hers. I have a small stack of books I'd love to read but never have the time to dive in....

I somehow missed all the talk about the new book. I saw it on sale yesterday at Costco and assumed it had been remaindered. I was surprised that it was new and that it was a Robert Langdon book.

I read Dan Brown the same way I read John Grisham - when I'm on long airplane flights or at the beach for a week. It's good escapist fiction.

But then again, I don't read much fiction, so what do I know?

Oh, Christy, I really do get it....and I honestly have experienced the same thing, although I must admit I didn't/couldn't express it so well! I loved reading your words, and in closing I must confess that some days I still look at my short, gray hair and momentarily think of growing/dyeing...before I turn away from the mirror and smile!
Love from Aunt & Uncle in KS
P.S. You really look great!!!

What a profoundly freeing concept. I love that your new look echoes your annual birthday tradition; truly, cutting all your hair off is the physical definition of facing forward. :)

I absolutely LOVE your story and I can so relate! I just did this a few months ago myself. I didn't go quite as short, but it's as short as I've ever worn it, and I am really growing to love it. You look beautiful!!! Thanks so much for sharing your story!
