Christy goes to England, Part 1
Under “Pages,” to the left, you’ll find my first piece about my trip to England, “Oxford: Searching for Jack.” Enjoy. And if you don’t enjoy, lie to me.

Thank you so much for writing that piece and sharing it. I had tears in my eyes at the end. I hope Lottie makes it.

Superb story. And the ending brought tears. I know those places, have been to the “Bird and Baby” too – what locals call the Eagle and Child.
I have a biography of Lewis somewhere, written by someone who knew him, called Sayer, I think. And I think it’s in that book that it says that a person dies when the world changes in a certain way, that they no longer have a place in it, something like that. I used to be into Lewis a lot, not now. But you remind me of the woman who sought him out, the one he married!
